HISTORY

Our History, World Affairs and Travel departments are in process of being built together into our "Read-the-World" initiative. This increasingly will cross-link the three to give easy access to a wide range of books on different aspects of each continent, major regions within continents, and some individual countries.

We started with selections of titles regarding Africa and the Middle East, and have now added China plus a small introductory selection on more general world history. Click on the directory above-right. From each geographic section you will be able to navigate laterally between history, travel and world affairs departments, a wider range of material about that particular region of the world.
